The scene outside Nelson Mandela's home and at the museum dedicated to his life.
The former South African leader has been in the hospital for four days with a recurring lung infection.
President Jacob Zuma has called on all South Africans to pray for the 94-year-old leader who is described as in "serious but stable" condition.

Security is high outside his hospital and visitors including daughter Makaziwe have flocked here over the past few days.
This is the former South African leader's fourth trip to the hospital since December.
