FOCUS - A hostile host country for annual UN Climate conference

The 19th UN Climate Conference opens this Monday in Warsaw. It's a controversial choice of venue for a meeting aimed at getting countries to cut their CO2 emissions. The reason is simple: Poland generates 95% of its electricity from coal, and plans to carry on doing so for years to come. The country has so far resisted EU pressure to accept tougher CO2 emissions targets, saying they would hurt its fragile economy.
