Today I talk about 5 Types of Technology that I think are awesome and have influenced their genre of tech.
First I talk about Cellphones. We take a look at an early cell phone and then look at both the iPhone 4 and the Galaxy S3. Talk about a HUGE change. We went from a huge bulky grey box with and antenna to something so thin and portable AND powerful that it is crazy!
Cameras are awesome. Cameras from DSLRs to point-and-shoots. I've become fascinated with cameras recently and they are something I really like messing around with and trying new things with. The different types of lens' and features on DSLRs still blow my mind haha.
Microphones are another type of technology that I find fascinating. The process that a mic goes through to produce sound is pretty epic. I reference my Blue Spark here as well as the Blue Snowball and talk about how the way a microphone is built and how it works.
Then we switch gears and I talk abou tthe original Gameboy. The Gameboy has revolutionized the mobile gaming industry. Without the Gameboy portable gaming would not be the same as it is today. Sure, it would exist, but who knows how many great systems and games we would have missed out on if it wasn't for the original Gameboy. Nintendo really it the ball out of the park with that one. :)
Last but not least, I talk about storage. Computer storage that is. The first computer we had at our house had 1.9 GB...of total storage. No, not 1.9 GB of RAM...1.9GB of storage. That's the size of some programs... Needless to say, storage has come a LONG way since then. We now have these small micro SD cards which can hold 128 GB and that still blows my mind!
