Planets revolve through heaven
like stones in the mind,
each star a solar system
drifting in space unknown,
had I sight in my eyes
I would look toward the sky,
had I vision in my brain
I should seek love.
Mars came to my ancestral door
to echo lettered names,
Venus rang loud chimes on the bell
singing dirges to fame,
Jupiter observed my existence
in full realisation of the outcome,
Saturn discovered my love
holding barren meteors of space,
had I sight in my eyes
I would look to this world,
had I vision in my brain
I should look elsewhere.
