For once in a very long time
I’m seeing the sun come out of the clouds
I actually get happy and excited
And jump and scream out loud
I’m welcoming in the sunlight
I’m seeing more than just night
I feel like I’m making it through this
I have faith that I’m winning this fight
For once in such a long time
I cannot help but smile
And can except that sometimes I’ll feel bad
But it’ll only be for a little while
You’ve helped me make it through this
To wake up and welcome the day
I never thought I’d feel like this again
I’m so happy I’m feeling this way
