Warmth and heat and safe and sound
Soft and close and wrapped around
Cosy and snug and grinning wide
Set and perfect and held inside
While rattles and splats attack loud
The drumming of the falling crowd
That whistles and whips against the pane
The gurgle of torrents down the drain
Cold approaching but kept at bay
Make me want to stay this way
In case you wonder what I mean I will now explain
I’m still in bed while outside I can hear the rain
Flying Lemming
