All the beauty I have known,
(For me extant in palimpsest;
Real, would weigh a trillion ton) ,
God carries archived on His breath.
The palatial dreams of my youth
Never have and never shall
Be built by me, no, my growth
Is as the sounding of a bell.
Chuang Tzu's butterfly, I roam
From civilized to primeval,
Earth but my temporary home
For chrysalising beauty's larval.
