A thousand lies, A thousand lies
They came at me,
from all sides.
A thousand truths, A thousand truths
They fly around me,
fly aloof.
A thousand lies,
they seep inside.
Deep inside.
They set their roots,
tough, hard roots.
Making the lies seem,
like The Truth.
A thousand truths,
they fight the lies,
but the roots dig deeper,
right in front of my eyes.
A thousand truths, A thousand truths.
They never give up,
they still fight the roots.
The roots, the roots.
They bring such pain.
They pierce my heart,
I wish they wouldn't have came.
The fight, The fight,
it rages on.
The Truth won't give up,
no matter the sunsets or dawns.
'The Truth! The Truth!
Embrace the truth! '
I can't hear the words,
because of the roots.
'Do it now. Please, do it now.'
The words are a whisper,
I want to hear but don't know how.
'Give you heart! Your heart! Your heart! '
I hear the words,
like I've heard from the start.
The lies, The lies.
The roots, The roots.
The give up and disappear,
to The Truth.
