i sit and dream about someone else's heart
but the beat, it's not there!
but i don't really care
i sit and dream of the one i should be
the one i was from the start
a castle a bed and a coffin is all i see
in this fantastical dream
oh who could this be
who's heart that does not beat
why are you haunting me?
i lie on my bed breathing in the
comforting darkness
and suddenly crimson eyes glaring at me
is what i sense and see
oh who could this be?
it maybe
my insanity catching up with me
still those eyes to me haunting as they are
they don't scare me but are familiar you see
such contrast they are to big brown eyes mine
yet i love how they shine
those eyes and that heart that does not beat
i will dream of both while i sleep....
