Newborn butterfly
Waited on the branch
For its wings to dry
And took off into space.
Colorful butterfly
Wandered among branches
Floated around leaves
Not touching any.
Beautiful butterfly
Moved freely with grace
Landed smoothly on target
A freshly opened flower.
Amazing butterfly
A delight to the eye
I loved every moment
Observing nature's wonder.
