In today program, host Jorge Gestoso interviews author and political analyst Peter Kornbluh, author of the recently released book, coauthored with William W.LeoGrande, "Back channel to Cuba-The hidden history of negotiations between Washington and Havana". The study chronicles the ups and downs of 50 years of secret talks between Cuba and the United States. Kornbluh heads the National Security Archives, which despite its official sounding name, is an organization dedicated to getting secret government documents declassified. Among the documents obtained were reports showing that Washington was planning to militarily attack Cuba and smash the revolution. teleSUR
