You know, I've come to a realisation
We're all like tiny little birds in a cage
Our parents, our guardians- they put us there
They put us in a cage, trying to protect us
Sadly, they don't know what happens to us
We become too dependent
Sooner or later, they will clip our wings- so as we cannot fly free from their grasps
Those of us whose feathers have not been ruffled, we do not even attempt to leave
We have gotten too used to our familiar surroundings, we wouldn't want to leave a place that offers food, drink and protection
As I said, we've grown too dependent
But I want to do something
I want to raise these clipped wings
I want to raise them into the air
And FLY
I want to be DIFFERENT from the others
I want to FLY
I want to become independent
To fly with clipped wings...
Everybody would try to follow me too
Soon, the whole sky we see would be flocked with birds, trying their luck
Although, we can't
We have, see, a metal cage we can't pass through just yet
Every sky has a limit
That metal cage is ours
I'm trying, every single day, to break that metal cage
I fight for what I am worth
I fight for myself
I fight for everybody elses' courage
I fight for- no, because, I want to make a mark in this world
