Nothing breaks the silence
But the dryer in the hall
Candles on the sill
Oil in the bath
Lavender and chamomile
Infuse the very air, and
The water in which I lay
Wine: white, crisp, cold and clear
My thoughts
Drift and meander about, they
Wander upon the mountainside
Until they find themselves
...With you
A smile, and
I reach for the phone
