And the snow falls down
We watch it through the window
Gently draping all in pristine, unbroken white...
Eggnog in our glasses
A twinkle from the tree
Music drifting through the candlelight
Sings a song of the season
You and I
Gently recalling
All the moments of our lives
Accepting the joy,
Forgiving the sorrow
Of yesterday
Remembering
The happiness,
The arms of our friends
The evenings filled with laughter, and
The mercy of a loving smile
