Twenty years from this day
When we've gone separate ways
When all is grown, all has changed
And time causes feelings to fade
I hope to see you on the street
With a lover who you complete
May she laugh and love as much as me
With heat so pure and soul so free
I hope we smile, give a sigh
Exchange greeting and goodbyes
And if we happen to meet eyes
Think 'Those were the days of our lives'
And if you cry for me that night
Though holding your lover tight
