Drown out the world and forget your fears
Let the lyrics invade your broken soul
Heal your wounds as they swallow you whole
Become a different person as you sink
Delve into the music, don't even think
Forget yourself, if only for a few minutes
Forget the troubles of life until reality hits
When the music is over everything goes back
Start your life again everything back on track
Normality is regained as the world wins
Back in reality until the next song begins.
