Love is a language
shouted so hard
or whispered softly
by a lover's heart
it fills up the ears
of those who hear
its tender resonance
and its gentle countenance
it occupies the mind
and blinds the logic
it's exquisite and divine
it blossoms like magic
it is spoken by God
and to us, it is taught
now human be use of it
as a means to communicate
it's a means of erudition
a literate of passion
and tenderness and honesty
every righteous quality
love is a language
its echoes will never fade
its loveliness will never wither
though other may have dithered
love is a language
it does utter the faith
and becomes a power
bestowed to a lover
love is a language, my love
this poem may never be enough
but if I tell you 'I love You' now,
its implication won't ever last...
