Your veins don’t share my blood
Your cells entwine not with my gene
Your eyes are not …..That green
I had you not …nurtured inside
In the sterile emptiness of my womb
The echoes you adapted in dark
Were not my cords …were not mine
The dark you were weaved in
Had never been a part of mine
They say I am not related to you …but
Your beats share my heart
Your pulse assures me life
Your eyes share a glimpse of mine
You speak my words…. you speak my tone
You speak of me as your own
I had not you in the entangles of cells
But I had you in my deepest core
I had not you in my flesh n blood
But I always had you in my soul
They still say I am not related to you ….
