In a breezy evening
I cruise my boat on a calm sea,
above me remains the star-studded sky,
darkness spells all around and
mingles the sky with the sea,
difficult to delineate the horizon.
I align myself to the luminous stars
forgetting the eerie darkness,
a transcendence prevails me all over.
The bloom of the full moon
looms large
on the other side of the shore,
the glow mellows
and reflects on the sea
I wish to befriend the halo of the moon,
shying away from its stigma.
With the daybreak
when the sun ascends
and derives its momentum,
brightness befalls
but emits heat to radiate,
I wish to cling to the dazzle of the sun
ignoring sultry sweats.
Sudden surge of the rain
overwhelms me
and drenches me completely,
I enjoy the fond caresses of the raindrops
on my forehead and cheeks,
the numbness of my chilled body
cannot detach me
from the hangover of caresses.
I pray to the Almighty
' O Lord! give me strength
to behold only brightness of the things.
Let my inflicted injuries
out of torments, tortures
and disparagement
melt away to the shower of love.
Let my bygone past
and mystic future
go into oblivion,
please engulf me in my immediate present
where I can know only one key word
which is 'Brighter Vision'.'
