Life, or mine, is just like flowers,
Swaying in the autumn wInd.
I'm light and free and nonchalant
Towards angry weeds, who spring from sin.
Pedals lift a cool night's breeze,
The rush; the ride; a song bird melody.
Flower's live and live to thrive,
But now in comes the time for threnody.
Children laugh and spread a veil,
Of blushing red o'er green grass hills.
With every step a loved one dies,
A stem that snaps; a painful shrill.
One girl came along and unlike friends,
Bent down in her crimson dress.
She came not to kill, but to enjoy,
She was a gift, and I've been blessed.
But i have scars, my roots dig deep.
Knowing the human race I fear
That she will be like all the rest.
That she will bring up flower's tears.
So If you're out there, keep on smiling.
With out you i am unempowered
You've given hope, and i hope strong.
So please make my life just like flowers.
