The Chinese Prime Minister Li keqiang and Brazilian Dilma Rousseff have signed investment and infrastructure agreements for US$50billion. This includes a proposal to build a railway through Brazil and over the Andes to Pacific ports in Peru. The rail system is expected to speed up exports to China and represents a boon for Brazil. Li keqiang will also attend a ceremony to unveil Chinese made trains in Rio for a new subway line to bolster public transportation just in time for the Olympics. teleSUR
