Song "Day of Magic" I have composed 1974, but Ben Smith - New Zealand songwriter/lyricist - has given it a new life. Writing a new lyrics on the cruise ship "Navigator" - he has created great image of God looking down on us, so that's way - "we can see HIM smiling" !
It corresponds perfectly with this sacred-magic place: Our Lady of Rosales Grotto - in the background of my video.
One of many stories about this place says that Rowel Darang of Rosales, Pangasinan, on September 2, 1987 has heard strange voices calling his name outside home.The next morning he went out and and found a 13-inch statuette of the Virgin Mary on his doorstep. He took possession of this statue when nobody else claimed ownership. From the time he took in the image, his life has completely changed. He received messages from Mary. He was ordered to construct a grotto in her honour where the faithful could go to worship. This shrine now stands in the middle of a rice fields donated by the Rapanot family of Rosales, Pangasinan. This family is non Catholic.
There is also a little star - Ja-Ja - 4 years old girl from nearby village Maburak. Adore her smiles.
