Similar to that Examp 1 by NIN, we get a level where the credits are in the name of the level. The level name doesn't look relatively long this time around, though it does not look pretty or appear to be a normal name. Maybe I ask too much for levels that have names that blend in with the original levels. Q2 was able to do it.
This level is basically three different structures thrown into a square room. We get one of every Shareware weapon (no Thunderbolt), one of each ammo, one Armor, and one Health (there was supposed to be two, but one fell out).
As there is basically one of every item needed in a Deathmatch level, you would think the level would be perfect. The problem is that it is missing balance, we have only one set area to get Ammo or a Weapon, no matter the strength of the actual Weapon.
The first structure is a building. This building is where most of the stuff in the level is, including anything used for getting Rocket ammo and a Rocket Launcher. You know there is bad balance when you can get almost everything you need to dominate the level in one portion of the map.
The second structure is a pyramid. The top, which I Rocket Jump to the end to show off, is inaccessible normally unless you spawn up there. Luckily there is nothing of value on the top of the pyramid. In fact, due to the lower levels just having a Super Nailgun and Double-Barrelled Shotgun, it is pretty much pointless to travel over here.
The third structure is a track with a 25 Health below it and a Yellow Armor above it. It normally is only accessible by using the pyramid, thereby giving a use to the worthless section of the map, but it is much quicker just to Rocket Jump to the Yellow Armor. Any damage you get will be pretty fixable due to a 25 Health being just below you.
Balance is the most important thing of a Deathmatch level. I saw DMAS11, a level some people have compared to as being like Q2, as being a good level due to having great balance. While this level may look a lot prettier (trust me, I know the level is no masterpiece in that category either) than that level ever did, this level is a lot easier to dominate and therefore kill the enjoyment of everyone else. When a spawn point, such as this one being on the top level of the structure, gives such a great advantage it is highly unfair and not worth playing.
