The founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement Mr. Altaf Hussain strongly condemned the unscheduled loadshedding and electricity breakdown throughout the country including Karachi during the holy month of Ramazan in peak summer days.
In a statement issued from London Secretariat, MQM Chief said that the breakdown during Sahri, Taraveh and Iftari times was not only shocking and shameful but also weird to comprehend. He said that the nation was witness of various claims to end the laodshedding monster but all the claims were not more than political juggling either by the democratic or dictatorial regimes.
Mr. Hussain said that the former governments singed various pacts with foreign countries to meet the need of electricity but the money ultimately went to their pockets rather to buy electricity. He said that 2 percent of the privileged class had neither to face such laodshedding or electricity breakdown nor to be suffered from water crisis.
He said that the people should present their issues like electricity, water crisis and others to the army establishment rather requesting the corrupt and incompetent rulers. He condemned the government to keep taking credits in the name of people’s issues to resolve but all the fund being remained in the pockets of the government officials.
