A Jordanian police officer opened fire Monday on foreign trainers at a police compound near Amman, killing two Americans and a South African before being shot dead, The Associated Press reported, based on a government official.
In addition to the dead, two Americans and four Jordanians were wounded in the shooting, with one of the wounded in critical condition, Mohammed Momani told the Petra state news agency, according to AP.
Momani called the shooting a crime and said an investigation has begun, AP reported.
