4 vjet pas tragjedisë se Gërdecit qëndrimi kritik ndaj vendimit te gjykatës për këtë çështje ka bashkuar si rrallëherë analiste e politologë, pavarësisht bindjeve. Mero Baze gazetari i cili e ka investiguar gjate dosjen Gërdeci deklaron se drejtësia nuk është vendosur për shkak se gjykata nuk dënoi askënd për vrasje si dhe për faktin qe asnjë prej njerëzve qe realisht shkaktuan tragjedinë e Gërdecit nuk u dënua. Sipas Kajsiut gjykata dënoi vetëm teknicienet, por jo përgjegjësit politike te kësaj tragjedie. Arjan Vasjari deklaron, se Shqipëria rrezikon te behet vendi i gjysme te vërtetave. 4 vite me pare ne Gërdec humben jetën 26 persona dhe u plagosen 300 te tjerë, por gjykata e shkalles se pare nuk dha asnjë dënim për vrasje.
