Te dëmtuar pese here radhazi, vetëm dy vitet e fundit, banoret thonë se ne zonën e tyre, ende nuk jane marre masat per te parandaluar ndonjë përmbytje te mundshme. Jeta e banoreve te Obotit është e lidhur me bujqësinë ndaj nje tjeter vërshim i ujit mbi te mbjella do t'u shkatërronte gjithçka. Kryetari socialist i komunës Ana e Malit, thote se qeveria nuk i ka akorduar fonde për ndërtimin e argjinaturave. Ndryshe nga komuna demokrate e Dajçit, ku kane përkundur argjinaturat, ne Obot dhe fshatrat e tjerë te komunës Ana e Malit, ato nuk kane filluar. Dy vitet e fundit dhe veçanti shirat e 30 nëntorit te 2011, i dhëne goditjen me te madhe zonave përreth Shkodres. Mbi 14 mije hektarë toke dhe rreth 5 mije shtëpi u përmbyten, ndërsa shume familje edhe sot nuk kane përfituar nga kompensimi i qeverise për demet e shkaktuara ne banesa , toka dhe biznese.
