Ashtu si politika edhe historianet janë shfaqur te përçare kur flitet për aktivitetet e 100 vjetorit te pavarësisë. Teksa Qendra Albanologjike organizonte këtë te hëne një konference ndërkombëtare shkencore, Akademia e Shkencave, po ne kuadër te 100 vjetorit, priste te tjerë historiane për te referuar me te njëjtin qellim. Sipas Paskal Milos, përplasja e aktiviteteve është e qëllimshme nga instancat qeveritare, te cilat i kane kushtuar vëmendje konferencës se qendrës albanologjike dhe jo asaj qe organizonte Akademia e Shkencave. Por, nga ana e saj, Akademia e Shkencave përmes nënkryetarit te saj, Muzafer Korkutit, shprehet se kjo situate ka ardhur per shkak te moskoordinimit te dy aktiviteteve nga palët. E teksa konferenca ndërkombëtare e qendrës albanologjike do te zgjasë dy dite, kjo e akademisë se shkencave mbyllet me një dite. Mes emrave te historianeve qe referojnë, ka edhe nga ata qe janë te ftuar tek te dy aktivitetet.
