Thousands of Argentinians demonstrated yesterday in several cities across the country against President Mauricio Macri's announced intention to gut the Media Law. The protests came on the heels of Macri's decision to create a Communications Secretariat to modify the law, which seeks to reduce media concentration and democratize access to press.
