At a press conference on Wednesday in Nairobi, experts delivered an update on the impact of the El Nino weather phenomenon in East Africa. Guleid Artan, Director, IGAD Climate Prediction and Application Centre, said that despite the severe damage caused by El Nino, its impact is 'not as bad as predicted.'
