India's Energy Minister Shri Piyush Goyal reiterated India's goal of world's largest scale up of renewable energy to 175 GW.
The Minister presented the successful energy efficiency LED programme as a template of India's 'speed-skill-scale' execution.
He informed of India's Rs 100 crore commitment to creation of a corpus fund, to which $2 million have been offered by Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) and Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI).
