Nepal conspiring to end Madhesi's relations with India: Leader

Muzaffarpur, Feb 01 (ANI): Madhesi People's Rights Forum chairman Upendra Yadav said Nepal was being ruled by a communist government, which was conspiring to end Madhesi community's relations with India. Top leaders of agitating United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) travelled to Bihar in a bid to gather support for the Madhesi protest against the Himalayan nations' new constitution. Yadav, whose Madhesi-based political party is one of three parties under the umbrella of UDMF, said Nepal is being governed by communists. Madhesis have been protesting for the last few months over the new constitution of Nepal, which they feel has not addressed their concerns. A leader of India's regional Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Raghuvansh Prasad Singh, said the protests by Madhesi community were justified. Many Madhesis have close linguistic and cultural bonds with Indians across the border. Madhesis have been protesting for last few months over the new Constitution of Nepal, which they feel have not addressed their concerns.
