Am 30. Juni 1987 gastierte die Swing- und Jazzlegende Cab Calloway mit Orchester und Gastkünstlern in der Hamburger Fabrik. Das Konzert an diesem Abend war ausverkauft. Trotz der sommerlichen Wärme boten Cab Calloway, seine Tochter Chris Calloway, der australische Jazz-Trompeter James Morrison sowie Faruma Williams und Floyd Williams von The Williams Brothers (Steptanz) ein mitreißendes Swing- und Blues-Konzert. Der Norddeutsche Rundfunk schnitt diese Darbietung mit und sendete sie am 25. Dezember 1987 im Fernsehen.\r

On June 30, 1987 the swing and jazz legend Cab Calloway gave, with his orchestra and guest artists, a guest performane at the Hamburg Fabrik. That evening the concert was sold out. Despite the summer heat, Cab Calloway, his daughter Chris Calloway, the Australian jazz-trumpeter James Morrison and Faruma Williams and Floyd Williams of The Williams Brothers (tap-dance) gave a sweeping swing and blues concert. The North German Radio section taped this performance and broadcasted it on television on December 25, 1987.\r
