One person was killed and 10 were injured in an explosion that occurred late on Sunday (July 24) in Ansbach, near the German city of Nuremberg, a police spokesman said.
The spokesman had no immediate information on the cause of the blast, which followed the killing of nine people by an 18-year-old gunman in Munich on Friday.
But the Mayor of Ansbach Karda Seidel said that the cause of the explosion in the city center was an explosive device
The Nuernberger Nachrichten newspaper reported that the blast occurred at a restaurant in Ansbach.
