Sadly, hardly anything is known about this territory band, active in Scranton (Pennsylvania) in the late 20s and early 30s. They played at several venues in the city and the area, and recorded only one single disc in 1929. None of the musicians, except vocalist Seger Ellis, could be identified. However, as is often the case, the band did consist of remarkably skilled musicians. Besides, this recording is very interesting because it seems to be the only recording of a rarely heard song.
