Staying at the nThambo Tree Camp is a unique safari expérience in South Africa.
A five hour drive or a quick flight from Johannesburg, South Africa will bring you to the Timbavati Control Gate for Greater Kruger National Park, part of the Kruger National Park. A few minutes drive down the road and you will come upon the Klasserie Private Game Reserve home to the nThambo Tree Camp by Africa on Foot.
The property has a main building with a bar, lounge area, small library, and communal dining table. On one side is a traditional boma gathering place and on another is an outdoor lounging area and splash pool often frequented by elephants.
There are five luxury treehouse chalets that sleep two people each and without a fence around the property animal encounters often happen very close to where you sleep.
