This is part of my son's homeschooling activity. He had always been asking me to experience, first hand, how early Filipinos lived - particularly my tribe, the Igorots. So he tried pounding rice, cutting bamboos using bolo and cooking rice in a bamboo instead of a pot.
The first part is threshing out the grains from the rice stalk.
