Google, Facebook, Amazon, and other big sites are protesting online against the FCC's plans to reverse net-neutrality. Net-neutrality means Internet Service Providers (ISPs) enable you with access to any site without speeding up, slowing down, or blocking content. But back in May 2017, the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) voted to reverse these rules to boost investment in technology and remove regulation. Now, sites across the web are featuring messages on their homepages that urge visitors to send letters to the FCC. Evan Greer, one of the organizers behind the 'Day of Action' protest, issued a statement: "The FCC needs to listen to the voices of real people who will be affected by this attack on net neutrality protections – not just lobbyists from telecom companies in pursuit of more power."
