Behindwoods Gold Medals 2017 presents SIvakarthikeyan with Best Entertainer 2017 for his performance in Rajini Murugaan & Remo. He received the award from Action King Arjun. He thanked Behindwoods for the award & was nostalgic about his award 2013. He thanked both Rajini Murugan & Remo. Rajini Murugan is comedy film written and directed by Ponram, in his second venture after Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam. The film has Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role, while Soori, Keerthi Suresh, Rajkiran and Samuthirakani play supporting roles. The film, produced by Thirrupathi Brothers, features music composed by D. Imman and cinematography by Balasubramaniem.
Remo is romantic comedy film produced by R. D. Raja, written and directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan. It stars Sivakarthikeyan and Keerthy Suresh in the leading roles, while Sathish, K. S. Ravikumar and Saranya Ponvannan among others portray supporting roles. Actress Sri Divya makes a cameo appearance. Featuring music composed by Anirudh Ravichander and cinematography by P. C. Sreeram.
