Veteran hip-hop journalist and Genius' own Head of Artist Relations Rob Markman recently dropped his debut EP 'Write to Dream.' The eight-track project includes his single “I Don’t Wanna Wait” featuring Miami-based singer Kirby Maurier, which is produced by J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League and addresses his life growing up in Flatbush, Brooklyn. Markman’s interviewed countless artists for previous episodes of Verified, but this time Genius asked Markman to flip the script and get in front of the camera to explain the important life events that inspired his debut single.
