Driving home for Christmas, 500 miles in my AMG GT R! With my first long journey ahead in the new Shmeemobile let's get underway from my place in Frankfurt to get back to London in time for the big day. 500 miles, 750km on the road is clearly nothing for a GT like this, but the AMG GT R being a more hardcore version, let's find out what it's going to be like on the road for a full day.
My AMG GT R should already be expecting a future with many miles as it travels around Europe and possibly even further afield, but this was the first test and long stretch for it to go from Germany to the UK. With a stop along the way there is no question it is now utterly filthy but otherwise with only a small amount of traffic in Belgium (as usual), the journey went without a hitch.
