Mumbai gang-rape case: On August 22 evening, a photojournalist was sexually assaulted at the deserted Shakti Mills compound in Mahalaxmi, when she had gone there on an assignment with her male colleague. Within three days, the police nabbed all five accused in the case.
On September 3, another gangrape surfaced, after a telephone operator complained to the police that she too was gangraped by a group of five at Shakti Mills on July 31.
