Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday hailed the people of his parliamentary constituency, Varanasi, amid the Covid-19 crisis. While interacting with representatives of NGOs belonging to Varanasi, he said that a state like Uttar Pradesh overcame the apprehensions of the worst-case scenario of COVID-19 because of public support.
