Ministers in the Security Cluster are holding a virtual dialogue on gender-based violence. Police Minister Bheki Cele is leading a panel of officials who represent the Justice Department, the National Prosecuting Authority and IPID. There will be a dedicated desk at every police station to deal with GBV cases. These people will be trained by SAPS but NPA as well. This promotes accountability at station level.
