Aged in their 60s, 70s and 80s, the members of the Canberra singing group The Connections are often older than their audiences, predominately residents of local nursing homes and retirement villages.
The group has been going for more than 40 years, never charging for their performances, just content to play happy songs and spread some joy.
The remarkable members of The Connections are more than worth celebrating on the International Day of Older Persons, on Sunday, October 1.
