Retired fire officers are calling on Chief Fire Officer, Arnold Bristo, to pay them their monies now. The retirees allege that the Ministry has already given the 'ok' to process payment for outstanding meal and housing allowances, but the Chief Fire Officer refuses to give his approval. But Bristo says, that is simply not the case.
