The latest strikes follow a massive attack on Monday, where Russia unleashed 236 drones and missiles targeting critical Ukrainian infrastructure, including vital fuel and energy facilities. Despite the scale of these attacks, Ukraine’s Air Force reported a significant success, downing 102 missiles and 99 drones.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy condemned the strikes as a direct attack on civilian infrastructure, noting the extensive damage inflicted on Ukraine's energy sector. He assured the public that restoration efforts were already underway, with repair crews working around the clock. Zelenskyy also highlighted the imminent opening of 'Points of Invincibility'—facilities providing essential services during power outages.
