UN human rights chief spokesperson Ravina Shamdasani said that the agency had “long documented the severe human rights impacts of the so-called war on drugs in the Philippines” following the arrest of Philippine ex-President Rodrigo Duterte.
The UN human rights spokesperson stressed Duterte must act in “accordance with the law”.
