EU, India push for Free Trade Agreement by year-end alongside joint naval exercises
The EU and India announce joint naval exercises in the Indian Ocean involving Indian naval ships and two frigates of the European Union Naval Force (EUNAVFOR) to strengthen maritime security cooperation. Both parties reaffirm their commitment to a free, open, inclusive, and rules-based maritime order in the Indo-Pacific region.
