Birth rates are plummeting worldwide, with most countries now below the replacement rate, including Australia, but infertility is far from the whole story here. The United Nations Sexual and Reproductive Health Agency has conducted its annual "state of world population report" and found hundreds of millions of people want to have more children but are not able to for a number of reasons.
